What My Mother Doesn't Know

The book I read monday was What My Mother Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones.  It is a series of little paragraphs on each page about how this girl is going through high school.  This was a book that I will only read once because I did not enjoy it.  I think this is not a good book for people like me because there is no comedy, action or suspense and that is what I look for in a book.  This book also did not drag me in so after about a half hour I felt like putting the book down and switching books although i did not do this I never got to a point where was dragged in by the story.  I do not believe this is a bad book it is just not the right book for someone like me.  If you like books with action, comedy and suspense like me then I suggest not to read this novel.

diary of a wimpy kid

A book I read a while ago was Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  It is a book about a kid named Greg Heffley and he is a kid going through middle school on the bottom of the popularity list.  He has two brothers one named Rodrick and one named Manny.  Manny is a young little kid who is very spoiled and funny Greg is often jealous of him.  Rodrick the older brother is a mean bully to Greg and will always make Greg's life worse.  This is a funny, interesting and drawing in book that made me feel like I couldnt put it down.  I do not recommend it to anyone in 7th grade because I feel we've all out grown this book but it has always been one of my favorite books and thought i should write about it.

Beetween a rock and a hard place

The book I read Monday during english class was between a rock and a hard place. This book is about a man named Aron Ralston and he was on a hiking trip when a huge boulder fell on his arm and he was stuck there. After a while Aron had to break his arm then cut it off using his small pocket knife to save his life. After he cuts his arm off and is not stuck he returns back to safety alive. I like this story because it is a true story and shows that there's always a chance. Aron was clearly a physically strong person and he is also mentally strong. He is mentally strong because after this horrible tragedy he got back into climbing and did not let this hold him back. This is a true recovery.
After reading this, I felt that even in the worse problem I have I should be able to solve it because hopefully nothing could happen as bad as this. I recommend this book to people who like interesting stories but do not get grossed out easily. The book was very graphic and one of the pictures in the book set me off.
